Summer 2020: Elmhurst Outdoor History Tours

If a hometown "staycation" is in the plans this summer, no worries—the Elmhurst History Museum has you covered with a few outdoor adventures right here in town. Staff created two new self-guided tours for exploring local history with a Walking/Biking/Running Tour and a fun Bronze Plaque Adventure Scavenger Hunt.

Walking/Biking/Running Tour 
Embark on a Walking/Biking/Running tour of Elmhurst that will take you on a 5K loop through town pointing out historic sites along the way. DOWNLOAD MAP

Bronze Plaque Adventure Scavenger Hunt
Families with kids of all ages can try out a fun 1.5-mile Bronze Plaque Adventure Scavenger Hunt looking for clues found on historical plaques at various locations around Elmhurst.
