Santa at Spring Road

 

Hometown Holiday Kick-off Party                                                                                                                                                     Start the holiday fun the Saturday before Thanksgiving in your own hometown! The City Centre Fountain Plaza will be decorated for the season and will be the place to see Santa, your favorite frozen princess and more! There will be a DJ, dancing, prizes and lots of photo opportunities from 4 to 7 pm. Get your shopping in early and enjoy the evening in City Centre. www.elmhurstcitycentre.com

Wilder Mansion's Annual Holiday Market 

The annual Wilder Mansion Holiday Market features over 60 artisans and gourmet food vendors selling their unique one of a kind holiday gifts including jewelry, note cards, candles, chocolates, women's and kids' winter hats, home décor, soaps, handbags, winter mittens and scarves, baby items, coasters and a gourmet food gift court. Wilder Mansion - Free  epd.org

Spring Road Tree Lighting
Visit with Santa Claus, enjoy hot chocolate and cookies, and listen to festive Christmas carols. This event is held annually in mid-November.

Jolly Old St. Nick Concert​Ring in the holiday season with the Elmhurst History Museum's annual celebration of Elmhurst’s German roots. Elmhurst’s authentic German choirs, Damenchor and Männerchor, perform German carols. Jolly Old St. Nick will join the festivities to explain his legend and take photos with guests. Hot cocoa and treats will be provided.

Tree Lighting in Wilder Park

Join Elmhurst Park District in this annual holiday celebration in Wilder Park. Featuring holiday entertainment, a special guest from the North Pole, and children's activities in Wilder Mansion. This event happens every year in early December. Wilder Park - Free -epd.org

Sleigh Rides and Ice Sculptures
Walk up and down Spring Road to see ice sculptures sponsored by local businesses. Watch a live demonstration of the creation of an ice sculpture. Enjoy an old fashioned sleigh ride (or wagon ride depending on weather) with Santa and warm up with hot chocolate and cookies..

Explore Elmhurst Express Holly Trolley
All aboard the Explore Elmhurst Express Holly Trolley! This holiday-themed trolley has the same route as summer and will feature holiday entertainment. You can also track the trolley!
