Sponsored by the Elmhurst Commission on Youth and Elmhurst/Linden Oaks Behavioral Health. Depression is a real and treatable brain illness. It can be caused by many different life stressors and changes in brain chemistry. Come learn about the warning signs and symptoms of depression in teens and healthy ways to combat these symptoms. Open to teens, parents, school staff, members of spiritual community, and anyone influencing the life of teens. Plan to arrive early due to parking. Questions email Speakers : Patricia Noble, PsyD & Annie Jaworska, LCPC, CADC Patty manages the Hinsdale and St. Charles Outpatient sites which offer both Adolescent and Adult Mental Health/Dual Diagnosis full day and half day programming. Annie has experience working as an adolescent clinical therapist in the full and half day programming at Hinsdale and now helps primary care physicians connect people with the right behavioral healthcare treatment they need.
