  2. Middle School Night at the Pool

  3. Field Trip to the Farm

    Take a field trip with Elmhurst Cool Cities to Elmhurst resident Bob Vierow’s farm, home to Bob’s Fresh and Local CSA. Bob uses crop rotation to control weed and pest pressures, purchases organic seed and grows all his produce using organic methods, never using chemical fertilizers, weed killers, or pesticides. Take a hayride to the fields, see the farm animals and visit the greenhouse. Bring a picnic lunch. Families welcome. Carpools will be arranged, if needed. RSVP by June 17. 630/426-9789.

  6. Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra's Summer String Orchestra

    June 26, 2017, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Wagner Community Center

    The Elmhurst Symphony and the Elmhurst Park District will again offer a Summer String Orchestra for string players of intermediate level and up who are or have been part of an orchestra. Musicians will receive instruction from the Assistant Conductor of the Elmhurst Symphony. The goal of the summer program is for each student to grow musically and personally while experiencing a variety of music. Participants will perform for family and friends at a final concert on July 11.
