  4. Elmhurst District 205 Foundation For Educational Excellence: Holiday Tree Sale

    Be a part of this charming Elmhurst tradition and decorate your front yard with a festive Nova Scotia Balsam tree purchased from the District 205 Foundation’s holiday tree sale fundraiser. Neighborhood outdoor tree group orders of four or more will be delivered free of charge in late November. Beautiful assortment of indoor trees also available. Proceeds help fund educational enhancements and programs that benefit the students of Elmhurst Public Schools.

  5. 'Works on Paper' Exhibit at Elmhurst College

    Three Chicago-based, Latino artists will exhibit their works on paper this fall at Elmhurst College. Herman Aguirre, Javier Chavira and Gabriel Villa are stylistically diverse artists who work in a variety of media. Each artist expresses a very personal vision. Aguirre’s images are concerned with issues of loss and human fragility. Chavira’s drawings reference nature and celebrate the beauty of abstraction. Villa’s works portray the struggle of everyday life and the human condition.

    Join us in the galleries of the museum, amidst inspiring works of art or overlooking the surrounding vistas of Wilder Park, for a dynamic hatha/vinyasa yoga class.
