Calling all sleuths who love a good game of "Clue"! Put on your detective hats for an outdoor summer adventure by playing our Elmhurst Clue Game from August 1-September 1, 2020.
The Crime: The Schoolmarm came to Churchville Schoolhouse to prepare for the next school year and found a broken window! She realized her favorite pointer stick was missing. Everyone in town knows this is her favorite because she carries it with her everywhere. Before she can start the new school year, she needs to find out: WHO took the Schoolmarm’s favorite pointer stick? WHAT object was used to break the Schoolhouse window? WHERE did the suspect hide the object?
Step 1: DOWNLOAD the Clue "Detective Dossier" to learn how to play or pick one up in the museum gift shop during open hours (SU & TU-FR 1-5, SA 10-5).
Step 2: Venture to each location in Elmhurst, look for clues in the windows, and check them off on your dossier.
Step 3: Use your deductive reasoning skills to determine the suspect, object and location--then make your accusation!
Step 4: E-mail your accusations by September 1, 2020 to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
One entry per person. All correct guesses will be entered in a drawing to win an Elmhurst History Museum swag bag. Happy hunting! Questions? Call 630-833-1457.
