Why Attend the Superior Ambulance Services June 6, 2026 Elmhurst Cycling Classic?
Because it is an awesome Summer Kickoff Party in Wilder Park!
1. Phase Three Beer Garden at Wilder Mansion
The Phase Three Beer Garden is at the epicenter of the racing festival. It is in the Wilder Mansion Garden, and there are awesome beers on tap. It’s a legit beer garden right at the Start Finish line for awesome viewing.
2. FREE Community & Family Fun Ride
The Elmhurst Park District Community & Family Fun Ride is a free ride on the race course for families of all ages and for groups who wish to show that “Community” is Elmhurst’s superpower! Participants can hop on the course and do several laps around the university, in front of the crowds at 5pm. Registration is free at Courts Plus.
And NEW THIS YEAR - the Illinois Wheelmen will lead the Fun Ride on their old-style “big wheels!”
3. Because the action is SPECTACULAR!
And you can be right next to the racing! You don’t have to be a cyclist or racer to enjoy the show. Racers will zoom by at over 30 mph, and you can be right next to the action. Residents around the course host parties and have bands playing to celebrate the racers who come to Elmhurst from all over the country.
4. Awesome Food and Vendors
There will be plenty of food and treats provided by Primos Locos, Stouts BBQ, Phase Three Brewing, Rough Edges Confectionery, and the Jolly Sprinkle Ice Cream. Get your bike decorated, get some good food, and enjoy the free show of speed and strength!
5. Free Bike Check Up – You Will Be Ready!
On Sunday, May 24th at Phase Three Elmhurst (Spring Road and Prairie Path) you can bring your bike to get a free check up by Trek Villa Park. The free check up is from 11 am to 2pm. This is a perfect time to get a free check up before the June 6 Fun Ride!
